Zaki and Venus Book Readings
Buffalo Public School #33 Bilingual Center, Buffalo, NY
Therese presented her tales of Zaki and Venus at Buffalo Public School #33 Bilingual Cente on June 20, 2008. She was hoseted by a roomful of enthusiastic 2nd graders along with teacher Mrs. L. Barnes.

South Buffalo Charter School, Buffalo, NY ^ ^
Therese was the guest of teacher Ms. Courtney Brydges (above, right) and her 5th grade class at South Buffalo Charter School on Wednesday June 4, 2008.
Corner House Nursery School, Amherst, NY
Therese visited the 4 year old class at the Corner House Nursery Scholl on Friday, May 30, 2008. Her presentation was part of Mrs. Wild's Friday Literature day.

Northwood Elementary School, West Seneca, NY ^ ^
Therese visited Northwood Elementary on Thursday May 2, 2008. She did a book reading for the third grade class along with Mike Ryan, a hockey player with the Buffalo Sabres. She introduced the children to the newest book to be out in the Fall of 2008, Zaki and Venus Get Married. They were the first ones to even hear the words to the book and gave some good feedback. All of the children were wonderful to read to and showed so much interest. As one student stated "Tee you are awesome" and another said, "wow, this has been the greatest day ever...we had two celebrities in our class all in one day!". These were very touching moments for "Tee" and each and every child was special in their own way. Plus, they LOVE dogs!!! Many thanks to Northwood Elementary and Ms. Karen Kennedyfor the visit and for all of wonderful thank you letters!

Roosevelt Early Childhood Center, Buffalo, NY ^ ^
Therese does her first book reading at Roosevelt Early Childhood Center (School 65), in the Riverside Section of the city of Buffalo, NY, on Wednesday August 1, 2007.
Over 70 children of all ages were in attendance and they all enjoyed the book thoroughly. They loved that Zaki and Venus were getting married!
